An exciting full time, fixed term contract opportunity has become available for a Residential Administrator, reporting to the Village Manager.

The Residential Administrator is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective operation of the accommodation and administration across the Village. The Residential Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to, securing new and returning residents, resident enquiries and associated activities, supporting the management in Village operations and the administration of the Village. The key areas within this role are as follows:

Key areas of the role include:

  • Administration – managing the Village booking data base and reception services
  • Occupancy – managing retention sales, new booking allocations and all aspects of general occupancy
  • Operations – in collaboration with the Village Manager oversee resident related operational requirements
  • Car Parking – manage car parking bookings and logistics, including enforcement. 
  • Compliance – manage resident contractual compliance and adherence to financial obligations (debt management)

Essential criteria for this role include the following experience and skills:

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in the hotel / accommodation / service apartment industry or related customer service field.
  • Highly committed to the customer service experience with the ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills in a high-volume customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in reservations and revenue management.
  • Well-developed management and supervisory skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and manage or coordinate teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that help foster and promote positive relationships with stakeholders and residents.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities, without compromising accuracy and customer service.
  • Previous operational administration experience.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, database management systems (preferably StarRez) and web content management systems.
