Job Description
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong background in property maintenance, facilities management, or building services who enjoys working in a dynamic, resident-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the village to ensure a safe, clean and well-presented living environment for residents.
Undertake minor maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting directly where possible.
Liaise with contractors and service providers to manage scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and compliance checks.
Conduct regular property condition inspections and maintain accurate records and reports.
Monitor and maintain building systems (e.g., fire safety, HVAC, lighting, access control).
Support room turnaround processes during peak move-in and move-out periods including inspections of residents apartments.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues raised by residents and staff.
Assist in planning and delivering preventative maintenance programs.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Requirements
Proven hands-on experience in property maintenance, building services, or facilities coordination.
Strong practical skills and willingness to carry out minor repairs personally.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements in residential accommodation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with residents, contractors, and team members.
Proficiency with maintenance software or willingness to learn.
Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work, as required.
