As part of the Residential Life department, this role plays a pivotal part in our operations. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our community. As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residential community
- Leading and managing a team of staff members to ensure smooth running of the community
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the overall resident experience
- Building strong relationships with residents, providing support and guidance as needed
- Managing budgets and financial aspects related to the residential community
- Organising and overseeing community events and activities
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Handling resident enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Working closely with external stakeholders such as contractors and local authorities
- Contributing to the development of a vibrant and inclusive community culture

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualification
- Demonstrated experience in community development through engagement and social media initiatives
- Event management experience
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Highly committed to the customer service experience with the ability to demonstrate effective leadership in a high-volume customer service environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in hospitality or event management
- 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership role focused on community management (desired)
- Current National Police Clearance Check
