You will be required to work Monday to Friday between 4.30pm to 12.30am. Reporting to the Village Manager, the Evening Duty Manager is responsible for maintaining the agreed standard for safety and security for all Residents, dealing with Resident enquiries and assisting the Village's Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively manage security and safety within the premises
- Responsible for leading the emergency management response for the village as needed
- Investigate, create and publish accurate reports for related events or incidents
- Assist with the organization of residential life program activities and manage the Resident Assistant to deliver the program.
- Assist residents with account enquiries, information on support service and facilities information
- Ensure that high levels of detail and accuracy are applied to customer records
- Provide pastoral care for residents as required
- Consistent delivery of exceptional customer service, providing friendly and helpful support to residents and visitors
- Ensure all associated policies and procedures are followed
- The responsibilities of this role may evolve based on the changing needs of our residents and the business. We seek candidates who are adaptable and open to taking on new challenges as they arise.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualification
- Previous customer experience within a hospitality or student accommodation environment
- Possess leadership skills and management or supervisory experience would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and in control during potentially difficult situations
- Good knowledge and understanding of security procedures and responses
- Current National Police Clearance Check
